All evidence points to Steve Ditko as Co Creator. For years Marvel Comics has been covering up Ditko's work on Spider Man. They have tried change the way he looks and giving other artist credit for creating Spidey popularity. JR and his Son, but they both suck on Spider Man. No one has been successful in drawing Spider Man except Todd Mc Farline who came close. Disney has many artist maybe one of them will study some of Ditko’s work on Spidey before he left Marvel and re create the original Spider Man look. Not the wrong way screwed up spider man that we see to day started by John Romita and continued by his son.

It's difficult to say....
To me, Kate Moss just looks somewhat 'normal' sized in these pictures. What seems to be is that some people are just generally that size.
Arn't models supposed to be tall, thin and a size 10 at the biggest?
To me, Kate Moss does look 'sexy' in this photo; giving me the idea that most men will also find this image AND THE SIZE ZERO LOOK 'sexy'. I am not saying that size zero people such as Kate Moss are to blame for the image of size zero that seems to be potrayed in most minds; including my own, but I am saying that it may be a contributing factor.
It seems pretty contradictiry that the size zero look is strongly said to be so unhealthy and dangerous; also seen in programmes on tv (all of which, in my opinion, were very informative of the more obbsessive and extremely dangerous side of being size zero), and then we see these images of 'sexy' HEALTHY looking models in magazines that are admired and looked upto.

Spiderman was the child of many hands actually and in absolutely no way, should Stan Lee be considered the sole creator of the webhead. There are those who point to the similarity, in name and in image, to the Joe Simon creation, the Silver Spider which was changed to Spiderman in the end. He had given copies of these skecthes of his "Spiderman" to Jack Kirby, who apparently took them to Stan Lee when Stan approached him with the idea of a hero called by the same name.

There's no doubt that Stan Lee had a hand in creating Spiderman, but he is in no way the sole creator. The entire look of the series including the major villians are all the brainchild of Mr. Ditko and given the "Marvel Method" of producing comics, Mr. Ditko was as integral to creating the hero we know today as Mr. Lee.

I find anyone who touts Lee as the sole creator of "Spiderman" is usually not very well informed as to their comic book history. In my mind, "Spiderman" was created by Lee, Ditko, Simon and Kirby.

With all these new points coming out of the woodwork I have no idea who should get credit. It's great to see so many opinions though... keep them coming!

Silk Spectre should definitely be on this list. I did write this post many moons ago. I think it might be time for an update... and some new posts for that matter!

I think Silk Spectre of The Watchmen was the sexiest. The "girl next door in thigh-high boots" look is very alluring.
